Mission Statement

Seniors and their families often face many legal needs that may involve end-of-life decisions, unexpected incapacity, public benefit eligibility, or long-term care concerns. 

A proper estate plan allows you to provide for your loved ones, but also helps you to maintain control of your assets and care during your lifetime. 

 Adults who experience injury or mental decline may be unable to make the decisions necessary to meet their basic needs. Children may lack the support of their parents. 

These vulnerable people need someone who can legally make decisions for them and I have years of experience guiding families though this difficult process.

Litigation can be costly and cause further damage to family relationships.

As a trained mediator I work with parties to problem-solve and reach mutual agreements in cases involving guardianships, estates, divorces and custody disputes.

Handling the affairs of a loved one after their death is a difficult time regardless of how well-designed their estate plan may be.  This is an important time to have a trusted individual to call upon for help. 

Whether the estate requires a formal court proceeding or a small estate distribution, I will work with your family to make sure the wishes of your loved one are carried out.
